Here we have a really tidy and well machined 3 1/2" gauge LMS 3F 'Jinty' chassis to LBSC's Molly design. Built right up to the air running stage this is a great foundation upon which to build the locomotive. Interestingly it also comes with the castings and a few bits to build the model into a what appear to be a NER J15 (although the pen on the box says MSL Railway J13,..... but that doesn't mean anything to us, or google for that matter!) The chimney looks J15 ish though and we think the chassis would nudge that way nicely if you decided that you wanted something a bit different. To be fair, at this stage we reckon you could more or less produce any generic 0-6-0 locomotive from what is a lovely bottom end. Get your creative hats on and see what you can think of that hasn't been done before!
